When you register with OpenMRO, we collect personal information you provide: name, email address, phone number, company details, and job information. When you place orders, we collect shipping address and payment method information. We also collect usage data such as search queries, product views, and order history.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to process orders, provide customer support, improve our product catalog based on demand patterns, and send order confirmations and shipping notifications. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Aggregated, anonymized search pattern data may be used internally to improve sourcing decisions.
3. Data Storage and Security
Your account data is stored securely on servers hosted in the United States. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and are never stored in plaintext. We use HTTPS for all data transmission. Security question answers are also stored in hashed form.
4. Sharing With Vendors
To fulfill your orders, we share your shipping address and order details with our fulfillment partners (drop-ship vendors). We do not share your email address or payment information with vendors. Vendor partners are required to handle your data in accordance with applicable law.
5. Cookies and Analytics
OpenMRO uses local browser storage (localStorage) to maintain your session and cart between visits. We do not use third-party tracking cookies. We do not use Google Analytics or similar tracking services.
6. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at support@openmro.ai. Account deletion requests will be processed within 30 days. Order history required for tax compliance may be retained for up to 7 years per applicable regulations.
7. AI-Assisted Processing
OpenMRO uses AI agents to process search queries and route procurement requests. Your queries are used to generate product recommendations and may be logged for quality improvement purposes. Individual queries are not associated with your identity in logs used for model improvement.
